Adam has been coaching for over 4 years, and during this time has helped riders achieve some impressive results, including top-10 finish at UCI level and selection onto the Loughborough Cycling Academy. He works with athletes across a wide range of disciplines and abilities, and has built a reputation for helping riders take the next step in their development, whether that means competing at their first race or competing at the highest level.
Adam’s own cycling journey started in North Wales, where he first found racing through the local Cyclocross league. Since then, he has become a versatile rider, competing nationally in road, cyclocross and, more recently, gravel, racing at the UCI Gravel World Championships, adding international competition to his growing racing background.
He found a passion for coaching whilst studying at Loughborough University, where he supported numerous riders from a wide range of abilities, eventually stepping up to being cycling Development Captain for the University. Adam holds British Cycling qualifications in both Road and Cyclocross disciplines, and regularly coaches at Go Ride sessions in North Wales, passing on his experience to the next generation of cyclists.
By bringing together technical knowledge, data-led planning and an analytical approach, Adam provides coaching that is tailored to each athlete. He is passionate about helping riders reach their potential while still enjoying the process along the way.
