Having found cycling in his final years of the youth categories, Adam quickly developed a passion for racing with local club Wolverhampton Wheelers. After achieving some notable results at junior level both at home and abroad, Adam took the plunge as a first year U23 and moved to Belgium full time. Being thrown in at the deep end racing for Elite Belgian clubs his first couple of seasons at U23 level had plenty of ups and downs.
However, through perseverance things started to click and he was able to move up through the Belgian amateur ranks notching up several victories and podiums in the infamous kermesse races. He made the step up to UCI level in 2018 for T Palm Pole Continental Walloon, getting the chance to race against the best in the world in Belgian semi classics, earning him a spot on Dutch UCI continental team BEAT Cycling for two seasons.
Adam took on a different challenge in 2021, transferring to one of the top DN1 French teams, Cotes D’armor Cyclisme. Based in Brittany, he travelled and raced across France notching up some notable results across all terrains. It was during this time he completed his ABCC coaching qualification.
In 2022, he finally returned home to race for Saint Piran where he got to start his first Tour of Britain, taking a trip to the podium on day two for the most combative rider. Continuing to race on home soil in 2023 Adam, took to the podium at Ryedale GP and 4th at Ilkley GP as well as multiple results at National B level. 2024 has been his best season yet with American UCI team Skyline, notching up multiple results in UCI races the world over.
Adam has been balancing full time racing with coaching for some years now and has a wealth of experience in helping a wide spectrum of cyclists progress their riding, from those new to the sport to aspiring professionals. Through years of racing experience of his own, Adam has curated thorough knowledge of tactics, skills, nutrition and fuelling as well as the physical side of cycling, and is in a great position to help riders of any level get the most out of themselves.
