Jack has raced bikes for most of his life, following in the footsteps of his dad, who rode semi-professionally himself in France in the 1980s. Jack hung up his competitive wheels at the end of 2018, his 19th consecutive season, though he can still be seen at the odd MTB race.
In recent years Jack rode for the Elite amateur team; Spirit Tifosi- largely in a domestique role- due to his vast knowledge of the sport and enthusiasm to help the team’s younger riders. However, he still managed to retain an elite licence in the process whilst working full time as Shop Manager of C6 bikes in Cambridge. He prides himself in his extensive knowledge of modern equipment and training methods across a range of disciplines.
During his time racing, Jack tasted success over 40 times, including wins in the UK, Ireland and Belgium. Always an integral part of each team he rode for, affording his tactical knowhow to help his team mates achieve great results.
Jack has a degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Central Lancashire, which he gained whilst riding for Northern based Team Wallis. He is now ready to pass on his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of budding racers as well as those wishing to get more from their riding.
